Scuba Diving App Reviews

This is the first magazine I have purchased for the ipad. I bought it because Ive enjoyed the magazine, and I do love the content. The app is a different story though. Theyve basically just photographed the magazine. The layout takes no advantage of the possibilities of a tablet, it doesnt even rotate into landscape. The beautiful photos are often stretched over two pages and cant be viewed on their own. Articles include mobi tags (!?) and I havet been able to set up the complex series of mirrors required to use them. There is the usual ad content so why not link to the sites of the advertizers. This is the laziest magazine app Ive seen. The developer should be fired, they have absolutely no imagination.

This app stops giving access to any magazines once you subscribe. COMPLETE SCAM!! STEALS YOUR MONEY! NO REFUND OPTION.

I cant read the issues I bought and downloaded unless I have an Internet connection? Whats the point then?

This is a major issue. Had I realized this is the case I would have not subscribed.

I called customer service and was told to click on the cover instead of the view button. Now I can see the issue for offline viewing. Must be a glitch they need to fix.

Bought one copy, then subscribed. New issues would not load even though they had processed and thus collected my $14.99. Have emailed and called (2different calls) but they will not return either. A total waste of money.

Downloaded app, bought two issues and subscription, downloaded them, then they disappeared and dont appear for download again. In fact now the store in app looks blank. Needs to be fixed.

I typically do not write reviews... That being said I was very disappointed that after I pa Id $14.99 for this magazine I can not look at any of the issues without having to pay an additional $3.99. I can view the free previews but that is it. I love your magazines hard copies from the local dive store.!! Please fix so I can have these on my iPad.

I am already a subscriber to the print version and this does not give me the option to have the ipad version under my current print subscription. At least not that I can tell. Love the magazine though and highly recommend it!!

Wish they would link this to peoples current subscriptions on the paper version. So many other mags do, but not this one. I love the articles and pictures!!

I am currently a hard copy subscriber of Scuba Diving magazine and would hope your company would have an option to receive previous IPad downloads for free by using my online login that I have created in the past to access the customer service areas already. Consumer Reports ipad version has an excellent example of this resource ability. Please consider this request! Other than that the digital magazine works well with my limited 1st viewing tonight.

I agree with the first reviewer. We have been magazine subscribers for years. There should be a way for us to view it online, very few magazines are charging for both online and paper subscriptions.

After update I cant open the app at all, just opens and crashes.

Opens then closes, paid $15 and cant read now. How do I fix?

Current version is blank and wont go to magazine. Please fix.

Guys, your customer service FAQ states you are "evaluating" having print subscribers access the digital content on this app. When divers travel or they want to show some of the many products your publication covers and reviews, they dont take the print edition, they want to share the content digitally. Surely you want folks to look at those products, yes? Until then, Im uninstalling. Hoping you evaluate this carefully as the iPad app is not a money maker but a conduit towards it.
